Daddy & Miguel
Isle of Palms Beach
Our hotel, Seaside Inn, was the bldg right behind Miguel's head

Miguel, with her purple lips and shivering body, refused to leave the beach & ocean

Sunday after church we headed back to our hotel and immediately Mary-Gail asked if she could go to the beach. Lovey tenderly changed Mary-Gail into her bathing suit and the two of them headed out. Becca & I took our time changing into regular clothes (Rebecca still did not feel well and didn't want to get in the ocean), and we met Lovey and sister on the shore. Mary-Gail didn't want to hang out in the "baby" tidal pools - instead she wanted to crash waves as they rolled in! No fear with that little girl. Tony was in heaven - showing his littles his old stomping grounds and recounting his childhood memories of spending all summer in Florida on the beaches.
After beach time and a desperate attempt on my part to get the girls to take a nap (Rebecca went right to sleep, but Mary-Gail wanted to play and mostly wanted to wake Rebecca up: "Becca, Becca, wake up!") we headed to Pat & Kim's house (bro & sis-in-law) for dinner. Kim is a whiz in the kitchen and fixed up some delicious cooking. Plus, she made brownies for dessert (my favorite) and had Breyer's ice cream (my favorite too!).
Becca & Mary-Gail were introduced to the 2 chickens ("Fast" & "Faster" were their names) and the fantastic jungle gym + slides in Pat & Kim's backyard. I wish I had pictures of them playing with their so, so, so cute cousins!
