After we walked, ran, played, climbed, slid, and toured around River Front Park @ the Old Naval Yard in Charleston, we drove downtown to swing on the swings at the Pier. My first experience of these swings was nearly 10 years ago when Tony & I were dating and drove cross-country to meet his parents. He and I drove to the Pier nightly to swing, hold hands, kiss, and discuss things. What a wild ride! These swings hold a lot of good memories for me and Tony.
Rebecca was starting to feel better, but Mary-Gail was starting to get sick
We left the swings prematurely (for me anyways) and headed back to GG's for lunch and a nap for Mary-Gail. She was exhibiting the same signs that Rebecca had, and I was hopeful that a long nap would help heal her little body. Rebecca loved being the only one that 4 adults doted on. She got to go the Bi-Lo (grocery store) with Daddy, and a lady at the bakery gave her a giant cookie for "being so cute" Tony said. Well of course!
Rebecca was not stingy with her kisses. We were so glad to see her feeling better, and to show GG's how happy, smart, fun, spirited, and loving she truly is
