The Monty L. Bean Museum

JoJo & I were planning a Saturday outing since Jed had ACL surgery. We decided to go to the Bean Museum on BYU campus. I hadn't been there since I was little and I was extremely excited to see Rebecca & Mary-Gail's reaction to all the animals. They did not disappoint: Mary-Gail starting screaming in excitement as soon as she saw the lions, and Rebecca couldn't decided which direction to run to. JoJo was already there (she is always on time and has to get 4 kids ready - what's wrong with me?) and Gage was so happy the twins had arrived...finally!

Love the elevator! Love the cousins!

Hey guys - let's go!

Wait, which way do we go?

Whoa - you saw these in person momma?

Rebecca...running on the other side of the museum

Taking a break - Mary-Gail spitting up from the excitement (nice!)

Cy is trying to climb in with the Alligator. Notice how we're not too concerned; let the alligator get him :)

Reese, taking it all in

Mary-Gail in mid-scream (she was sooo excited) and Rebecca chastising the animals. Doesn't she look so cute with her hands on her hips (and her NEW boots!)

Hello cute cousins!
(That giant butterfly behind them is made up of smaller butterflies - NEAT!)

Wow - there is sooo much to see!

Racing up...

...Racing down. Mary-Gail can beat ANYONE up or down

Reese helping CyCy get some water. Very tender moment

The lion almost came alive

The girls did NOT want to be still for a picture

Rebecca & Mary-Gail loved seeing the animals from their books in real life (almost real life). I think they stunned some of the patrons as they named each animal we walked by. I told JoJo that we would definitely be going to the Bean Museum again. Can't believe I hadn't taken the girls there before! Thanks for the fun time JoJo & cousins! We love you!!!!

Thanks for all of those terrific photos! You perfectly captured the absolute joy the girls had at the museum. How fun! Wow, those photos brought back loads of childhood memories--even the elevator and drinking fountain reminded me of the museum. My dad worked there when I was a kid so we spent rots and rots of time there. I do hope you go back a lot, clearly the girls and cousins would love to return!
