Disney Hollywood Studios, Florida, Mon, Sept 14th

Monday we ventured to Disney's Hollywood Studios. Our timeshare villa is only 4 minutes from Disney's park entrance, but it takes nearly 30 minutes from there to reach the parking lot, board the train to the security & ticket booths before you actually enter the specific park. Lesson learned - leave villa at 8:15 am if you want to be "on time" for park opening.

I would have liked to been able to visit Hollywood studios again - with a plan this time. Jo & I had discussed the attractions, rides, & shows we wanted to see, but we didn't sketch out a "path to the plan" - another lesson learned. Collectively we saw/rode: Toy Story Mania (a fun 3-D ride were each person uses a shooter to hit targets & score points); and Journey Into Narnia: Prince Caspian (this was a real bummer - we thought it was a ride, but it was just a review of how the movie was made (you can see that on the 'extras' on your DVD). We got a Fast-Pass for Toy Story to ride it again later (which we didn't use), and then we decided to separate and do our own rides. Lovey, Me, Pappy & the girls went to see The Little Mermaid perform. It was wonderful and Rebecca & Mary-Gail loved it! I wish we would have been able to meet Ariel right then. We took the girls to Honey, I Shrunk the Kids play ground and let Becca & MG run wild. We couldn't reach Jo on the walkie-talkies, and I started to get nervous that we'd never meet up with the again! Plus, we had ALL the sandwiches for lunch, and ALL the water.

We ate our PB&J sandwiches, and I left Lovey, Pappy, & the girls to watch High School Musical - Senior Year, while I ran through the park to look for Jo, Jed, & Mom. I found Jo & Jed (Mom was on the Star Wars ride with Gage & Reese) who they were in serious need of water & food! I took Jo's littles (Cy & Taylor-Bug) with me; Lovey, Paps, & I wheeled our four pooped & red-faced kidlets back home for lunch, air conditioning, & naps. Becca, MG, Cy, & Bug were so pooed!

Everything in this playground was oversized. Even I felt "little"
Rebecca & Mary-Gail's legs & arms are exactly the same in these shots!
They must be sisters - They must be twins!

(which looks like the logo for Rolling Stones)
Sound Stumps
These stumps were so cool -they made different noises when you stepped on them.
Some chimed, and others chirped, but there was one (and only one) that farted
(for some reason the kids liked that stump a lot!)

She's such a ham!

Mary-Gail's fingers are searching for something in this picture...
...Found it!
"A booger, Mommy. Look! A booger!"
And then Mary-Gail says, "Don't pick your nose!"
(a little too late for that MG)
The ant lost it's savor

Heading back home

Lovey & Dad being silly -
pretending they see someone. The kids don't buy it!

I couldn't have asked for a better travel partner. Who would offer to take home 2 extra babies after an exhausting day at the park? You of course! It was awesome to spend individual time with the big kids. Thank you so much! Double thank you...did you see the look on Cy's face? That kid can be so cranky when he wants to be.
