Open-Air Market @ Park City

Park City kicked off it's eco-friendly open-air market on Historic Main Street today (Sunday, 6/14 - 9/27). Last year's Park Silly Sunday Market was the first "Zero Waste" program in Utah, where everything is recycled (including discarded food!). Prior to heading back to Provo, Lovey & I cruised main street to see what the Park Silly Sunday Market was all about.

The Zero-Waste canisters
The can on the far left is were discarded food goes - it is donated to
a local pig farmer who then processes it & serves it his pigs.

There was a kid jazz-band playing - they were pretty good.

A picture just for my bro-in-law, Spencer. Didn't know he had his own BBQ

Wow, that is a whole lot of hippy going on. Remember when Krista from Alaska went to the Park City's city counsel to pitch a recycling program and they were like, 'no!' Man have things changed.
