Aunt Carol's roses

After baths on Saturday Lovey & I toted the girls down the street to see Aunt Carol & company. We had "second dinner" (pizza) and played, played, played with Travi - their favorite 18 yr old cousin. Travi does "up-a-side-down" with the girls (Mary-Gail's lingo) and they LOVE it - can't get enough.

Auntie Carol let the girls have one of her beautiful roses from her blooming rose bushes. The girls were in heaven: smelling their rose every 5 seconds! Rebecca & Mary-Gail have been known to pluck flowers' heads off (we approved this only for dandelions, but hey, they're two and don't know the different between flowers & weeds), so to have a flower to hold and smell - an authorized flower - was "wonderful" as Mary-Gail said.

Rebecca & Mary-Gail were so wound up from their visit (and the many up-a-side-down's from Travi) that they immediately ran to our room and started jumping on the bed. And they had their flowers in tow too!
Rebecca keenly noticed that her flower's scent had rubbed off on her hand. What a smart girl!
