Left hand? or Right hand?

Left-handed...

Becca's reading from her October issue of Highlights magazine, while Mary-Gail colors her birthday cake (and decides which hand to use to color with)

Mary-Gail is focused when she colors. About the only thing that seems to take her away from her drawing is what color to use, and which hand to color with! These pics were taken Tuesday night, 11/23, shortly before supper-time. Mary-Gail & Becca had recently arrived home from their weekend stay @ Mommy Arlynne's house, and I was discussing with them their birthday. Mary-Gail immediately rambled on and on about her birthday cake and how she wanted a big cake with lots of stories (layers).
She asked me to draw her birthday cake, and like I'd done so many times before, I drew the outline of her layered-cake, and Mary-Gail filled it in with color. She is practicing coloring in the lines and did a pretty good job on the little cake. She was so excited about her birthday cake that she added another layer! Mary-Gail drew her candle on top of each cake too. And when I asked her if she only wanted only one candle, she said, "No ma, I'm four. I get four candles." O K! She and Becca got four candles on their cakes - their individual 2-layer cakes.

mg is just like her mom, she can use either hand for many different things, i wonder if she'll kick with her left leg and bowl with her left like you too! how funny, glad she is trying both hands out
