What have we been up to...?

It's been days and days and weeks and weeks since I've blogged. What have we been doing?

Thursday, October 25th
Visit from Annie Miller, OTC - Annie was so surprised to see Mary-Gail & Rebecca sitting. But then she saw a glimpse of our SPEED RACER Mary-Gail take off on all fours! Yup, Mary-Gail is crawling and loves the feel of the carpet, tile, and hardwood floors!!!
Rebecca does a killer rock-a-rock-a-rock-a-rock-a and is twisting to get out of her sitting position. She's crawling backwards, but doesn't like crawling very much. She'd rather concentrate on winning the world's record for the best "sit-n-reach."

Saturday, October 27th
We had our 11 month birthday! And like always, I took Rebecca & Mary-Gail's picture next to a 20 oz Cherry Coke bottle. Can't believe they've grown so big! (actually, these pics were taken on Wed, October 31st - just after Rebecca & Mary-Gail got over their sickness (see below) - which is why Rebecca is laying lethargically on the floor. Poor baby).

Rebecca handling the 20 oz Coke bottle - that used to be her size!

Mary-Gail frustrated that the cap won't "pop" off

Monday, October 29th - Wednesday, October 31st
sick. sick. sick. sick. sick. sick. sick. sick. SICK. My poor Mary-Gail had no wet diapers, and threw-up all her bottles and her Pedialite. She hadn't had a wet diaper for over 8 hours, so I took her into see our pediatrician on Monday. Forgot the stroller - toted both girls to SueAnn (even though Rebecca wasn't sick and wasn't showing "signs" of being sick). The outcome: just give Mary-Gail smaller feedings. Nice.

Afterwards I drove to Springville to my mom's Halloween party. Mom said there was "news" to be told: JoJo and Pam announced they're pregnant!!! Due within one month of each other: Pam due in May; JoJo due in June. More babies to love! This will be #4 for each of them. Hooray for babies!!

I snapped some pictures of Rebecca & Mary-Gail with mom (the witch Malefocent (spelling?)from Sleeping Beauty), and we snapped some pics with the "Greats" and then headed home. Mary-Gail hadn't thrown-up in 6 hours, but that night Rebecca started the projectile vomiting. And the fun just kept coming.

Halloween, Wednesday, October 31
Happy Halloween!! Finally, we had a break in the vomiting department. Since Monday I had full loads of laundry which included all bedding, pillows, cloth toys, stuffed animals, etc and threw EVERYTHING I could see in the washer (thank heavens for the "he" super-sized washer and dryer we have!) All plastic toys and anything "suckable" was thrown in the dishwasher. Mom & Dad come over. The girls didn't have any episodes today. However, that night I didn't feel well...

Rebecca & Mary-Gail look like Christopher Lloyd's character on "Who Framed Roger Rabbit?"
